Most people seeking counseling use their medical insurance as the primary means of payment.  Val Broste is “in network” with most major insurance carriers. This means that she has contracted to accept their allowed payment which may also require a co-payment and/or a deductible for which you may be responsible.

Val Broste is in network with BlueCross Blue Shield of Minnesota, Health Partners, Medica, Medical Assistance, Preferred One, South Country Health Alliance and UCare. If Val is not in network with your insurance plan, it may be necessary to contact your insurance about an out-of-network arrangement.

Note that Val is not a Medicare provider.  If, however, you have insurance in addition to Medicare, it may be possible that that insurance will cover your counseling services.  The best way to know for sure is to contact your insurance plan’s member service department; their number is on the back of your insurance card.

If you do not have insurance or choose not to use it, please contact Val directly about a self-payment plan.  If you choose this option, you will be expected to make full payment at the time of each counseling appointment.

Payment of your co-payment, your deductible or any self-pay agreement can be made with check or cash.

All major credit cards are accepted.Additionally, Val is able to accept VISA , MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club payments.  Credit, debit or health savings account cards with these logos are accepted.

If there is a balance on your account you will receive a monthly statement; these are mailed on the 9th of each month. If you have a question about your account, please contact MediBill at 800-722-9516 or contact Val Broste directly.  If you have a balance over $400 or have not made a payment in 5 months, your account may be turned over to collections.

Please do not hesitate to communicate about your account and make a payment plan with Val.
